Although it's very easy to move between different versions of the image using the history, side-by-side comparison would be welcome, including comparison of 2 different images (so that, e.g., I can match brightness)

I note that a similar suggestion was going to be acted on back in 2011 http://photo-toolbox-1745.idea.informer.com/proj/?ia=38753 but still doesn't seem to have been added yet.
